HEALTH CAN’T WAIT. Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t. Alan exists to end the wait. Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way. So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience. We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR. Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond. ⭐️ THE MARKET BUILDER ROLE ⭐️ Alan is moving upmarket, fast. More and more of our growth comes from large enterprise deals: companies with thousands of employees, complex existing contracts, and very specific expectations for what their health plan should cover. To win them, we're changing how we build product: - Capability teams build the flexible core of Alan (coverage, offers, billing, member enrolment, claims…). - Market teams own the last mile: adapting that core to win each deal, in each country. The Market Builder sits right at that junction: - You turn our product capabilities into real wins, deal by deal, market by market. - You'll join our Belgian Market team, working side by side with engineers. ⭐️ WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON ⭐️ Start with coverage. On enterprise deals, coverage (what a health plan reimburses) is the #1 thing clients buy and the biggest driver of price. When a deal gets stuck on coverage, you make the call: build it with Product (a new capability that pays off across many deals), handle it through Operations (a rare, deliberate exception to win a key deal), or solve it another way, and give Sales the story they need to keep the deal moving. Find the smart answer, not the literal one. You dig into what the client really needs and what our product can already do, weighing the technical, operational, member-experience and product-coherence consequences of each option. Protect the health of our product. Every "almost the same, but slightly different" guarantee adds complexity forever. You're the guardian of our core, able to hold a well-reasoned "no" under commercial pressure when it's not a decision we'd be proud of in 10 years. Get it shipped, on time. You coordinate the build yourself with the engineers in your Market team, and bring in Capability teams when needed. Turn your judgment into an AI agent. You document each assessment and progressively encode it into an agent that handles the routine calls, while you stay in the loop to correct it and keep it sharp. Grow into a 360° role. Coverage is where you start, not where you stop. As you automate the routine, you'll expand to unblocking deals wherever they're stuck, and scout new growth opportunities in your market with our Pre-Sales team. A few questions you'd help us answer - A 5,000-employee client needs a guarantee we almost offer. Do we build it, adapt what exists, or reframe the need? - How do we give enterprise clients the flexibility they expect without letting our product sprawl? - Which of your decisions could an AI agent make tomorrow, and how do you make sure it doesn't freeze into rigid rules? What success looks like after 6 months - You make build / operate / reframe decisions on coverage requests on your own, and a first AI-powered assessment layer is live on simple cases. - No new near-duplicate guarantees in our catalog without explicit justification. - You're one of the most knowledgeable people at Alan on your market. - You've started ramping up on a second product area. Who you'll work with Sales and Pre-Sales (they own deal timing and overall coordination; you own the solution), the engineers in your Market team, product managers and engineers across our Capability teams, and our market operations experts. Why it's a rare opportunity Few roles give you a full view of the product and direct, measurable business impact at the same time. It's one of the fastest ways to grow both your technical depth and your stakeholder skills. ️ ⭐️ IS IT WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR? ⭐️ ️ You may be a great fit at Alan if you have: - At least 5 years of experience in a product-related role (Product Manager, Product Ops, Solutions Engineer/Architect, Founder…), ideally around complex B2B or enterprise deals. - A genuine love for understanding how systems work under the hood: technical, operational and business. - Experience working with senior stakeholders, and the ability to hold a well-reasoned position under commercial pressure while keeping their trust. - A structured, fact-based way of making decisions, and clear written communication. - A track record of getting things done across teams and against deadlines. - Curiosity about AI and hands-on experience using it to automate your own work. - Fluency in English and French/Dutch - (As a plus) Experience in health insurance or employee benefits. For this role, we hire within the D–E level range 🌍 HOW WE WORK - Location: You must be legally eligible to work from Belgium. - Remote work: We offer remote work flexibility, but we value in-person collaboration 🎯 IMPORTANT NOTE: WE HIRE PEOPLE, NOT ROLES. If you're excited about this opportunity but don't check every box, we'd love to hear from you. Everyone, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply, as it can only bring learnings or success. If you identify yourself as a woman: Did you know that research shows women often apply only when meeting 100% of requirements? Remember, this is just a guide, not a checklist. We'll be thrilled to receive your application! 🔖 Check out our About Alan and Career pages, as well as our Medium blog / and Glassdoor page for more info. YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT ALAN? 🙌 Perks & Benefits Alaners are provided with a stimulating environment and perks ensuring they are happy, efficient and spend only high-quality time with co-workers. 🤘A strong culture People joining Alan are often surprised and delighted by our innovative working method. We have a set of cultural values that guide our approach to work

At Toast, we are passionate about creating raving fans and delivering an unparalleled customer experience — and that includes assisting our restaurant customers when their business becomes entangled in a creditor dispute. When a lien, levy, or garnishment is filed against a merchant, our customers need a partner who moves quickly, communicates clearly, and gets it right the first time. As Toast brings the end-to-end management of liens and levies in-house, we need an experienced subject matter expert to build and lead this function from the ground up.

As the Director, UCC & Tax Lien Compliance, you will own the day-to-day operational management of Toast's merchant liens and levies and bankruptcy compliance programs, build the specialized team and processes required to run it well, and lead the insourcing of this function in close partnership with Compliance, Care, Product and Engineering and Legal. This is a hands-on, build-it role: you'll inherit an active, high-visibility function with real customer and compliance stakes, and you'll be the person who turns it into a well-governed, scalable operation.

About this role

Strategic Ownership

• Build and maintain a state-by-state policy framework.
• Build the governance backbone for the function: SOPs, decision frameworks, case tracking, and closed-loop quality review, so that policy is applied consistently across the team and holds up to audit and legal scrutiny.
• Determine the right tools and systems required to manage an effective Liens & Levies compliance process, work with product and impacted stakeholders to minimize losses to Toast.
• Own the phased liens and levies compliance transition plan with Toast's third-party partner, including data-sharing, visibility, and handoff of withholding and remittance responsibilities.
• Establish and own the escalation path for complex or high-risk cases (e.g., competing creditor claims, disputed releases, bankruptcy proceedings, fraudulent or ambiguous documentation), partnering with Risk, Legal, and third-party fintech partners (e.g., payment processors) to reach sound, consistent decisions.
• Define and track operational KPIs (e.g., resolution time, case volume, escalation rates) and report progress and risk to cross-functional and executive stakeholders.

Operational Ownership

• Own the day-to-day management and execution of Toast's merchant liens and levies compliance program, including customer communications, intake, validation, withholding, escalations, complex/unique scenario handling, remittance, and release, serving as the subject matter expert to bring and operate this function in-house.
• Drive the operational process work required to insource the liens and levies compliance functions currently managed by a third-party partner, including business requirements, workflow design, and transition sequencing, in partnership with Fintech Product, Engineering, Legal and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Build and lead a dedicated liens & levies oversight team within Fintech Risk, defining roles, workflows, staffing needs, and training as case volume scales.
• Serve as the organization's subject matter expert on handling liens, levies, garnishments, and similar legal orders — including UCC filings, judgment liens, tax levies, bankruptcy implications, lien priority, and change-of-ownership/change-of-legal-entity scenarios — and translate that expertise into developing, owning, and maintaining clear, defensible policies, procedures and processes.
• Represent the team in cross-functional planning with Legal, Fintech, and Engineering as the technical build (case management, funds management, and reporting systems) is scoped and delivered.

Do you have the right ingredients?

• 7+ years of experience working with UCC and tax liens, levies, bankruptcies, and garnishments and the associated compliance requirements, as well as change and people leadership experience.
• Experience developing compliance management programs for regulated functions.
• Experience managing complex, sensitive escalations directly with customers, creditors, and their attorneys, exercising sound judgment on matters with real legal and financial consequences.
• Deep subject matter expertise in the mechanics, legal/regulatory distinctions, and compliance requirements applicable to different types of liens, levies, and garnishments — including UCC-1 filings, judgment liens, tax levies, and lien priority–and how each is impacted by different events impacting merchants, such as bankruptcy, business organizational changes (e.g., change of ownership and mergers/acquisitions), and know your customers (KYC)/know your business (KYB) requirements and events.
• Working knowledge of the regulatory landscape surrounding merchant funds handling, such as state-by-state garnishment and levy requirements, and money transmission/payment facilitator obligations, and strong knowledge of UCC Article 9 concepts as they apply to secured creditor claims.
• Demonstrated ability to build an operating model, team, and governance structure where none previously existed, with comfort operating in ambiguity while a function transitions between partners and systems.
• Proven cross-functional leadership skills — able to align Legal, Risk & Compliance, Engineering, Finance, and Customer Care around a shared process and drive decisions to closure without direct authority over every stakeholder.
• Experience managing a vendor or partner transition (e.g., insourcing a previously outsourced function), including defining business requirements and partnering with technical teams on system design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal/operational nuance into clear guidance for frontline teams and concise updates for executive stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; a background in banking operations, legal/paralegal work, or compliance is a plus but not required.

About H: H exists to push the boundaries of superintelligence with agentic AI. By automating complex, multi-step tasks typically performed by humans, AI agents will help unlock full human potential. THE ROLE Today, H is known for its story: its founders, its funding rounds, its press. We want it to be known for its value. Your mission is to make H one of the top 3 brands that large-enterprise decision-makers think of in enterprise AI, in France first, then in the US. You will be our Brand lead, and the owner of the Brand pillar of our marketing strategy, alongside Growth and Product Marketing. You'll take over a brand foundation that is being shaped right now (positioning, identity, messaging house) and turn it into a brand that holds for the next five years in a market that reinvents itself every quarter. Our brand stance is that of a pragmatic visionary: bold on vision, precise and evidence-led on capability. You'll be the guardian of that balance, making sure every piece of work speaks the language of the boardroom and holds up to the scrutiny of a CTO/builder. You'll work hand in hand with leadership, Product, Research, Sales, our FDE teams and Communications, and with our external brand and PR agencies. WHAT YOU'LL DO LEAD THE BRAND RELAUNCH (FOUNDATIONS) - Take ownership of the new brand platform: positioning, identity, tone of voice and messaging house, and drive its rollout internally and externally. - Turn our convictions into a story that is ours: what we believe, why we exist, what makes our approach to enterprise problems unique. - Build a brand system that flexes by market (France, UK, US) without losing coherence, and that separates our two registers: a bold "vision voice" and a precise "capability voice". - Set and enforce brand guidelines across every touchpoint: website, decks, events, product, recruiting. SHIFT THE NARRATIVE (REPUTATION) - Move the public conversation about H from founders and funding to product, value and customer outcomes. - Make trust a brand signal: reliability, ownership, resilience and our research-first approach (we own our models, we are not a wrapper), carried through proof rather than claims. - Co-own reputation with Communications: Brand defines the positioning, Communications amplifies it through PR and executive voice. BUILD AWARENESS WHERE OUR BUYERS ARE (AWARENESS) - Design the brand plan that puts H in front of large-account decision-makers: flagship events, recurring PR moments, ecosystem programmes, content and campaigns. - Prepare and lead the brand side of our US launch. - Partner with Growth so awareness turns into qualified relationships and pipeline. EARN AUTHORITY (AUTHORITY) - Grow H's thought leadership around the execution gap in enterprise AI and "AI that actually works". - Lead strategic sponsorships and labels . Institut Polytechnique de Paris, our Resilient AI label) and partnerships with academics and consulting firms. BUILD THE FUNCTION - Manage brand budget and agencies (brand studio, freelancers). - Hire and lead the Brand team as it grows, starting with a Content Manager. HOW WE'LL MEASURE SUCCESS Your north-star metric is the Brand Awareness Index (BAI), measured on our target audiences only: decision-makers at large accounts (SBF 120 in France, Fortune 500 in the US), from business C-levels to "the builders" (CIOs, CTOs, architects, data and engineering leads). The index combines aided awareness, unaided awareness and consideration of H in enterprise AI, tracked quarterly by market. Your first milestone is to set its baseline, since none exists today. Horizon Target First 90 days BAI baseline set in France and the US; brand platform rolled out France Top 3 in aided awareness among SBF 120 decision-makers, then Top 3 in unaided awareness US Top 5 in aided awareness among Fortune 500 decision-makers, then Top 3 in unaided awareness within 2 years for AI for enterprise Supporting indicators: share of voice versus competitors, and the share of H mentions about product and value rather than founders and funding. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 10+ years in brand, marketing or communications, including for a B2B tech company - You have led a brand repositioning or relaunch end to end, from strategy to rollout, and can show what it changed. - You have built awareness among enterprise decision-makers, and you have measured it (brand tracking, share of voice, consideration). - You understand deep tech well enough to translate it for a board without dumbing it down, and to defend it in front of engineers. - You are as comfortable with a CEO and a leadership team as with a brand studio or a PR agency, and you know how to brief, challenge and arbitrate. - You think in systems and act in details: a clear strategy, a sharp eye for craft, and a bias for shipping. - Fluent English is required; French is a strong plus. YOU MIGHT BE A GREAT FIT IF... - You have built a brand in an emerging category, where the words themselves were still being defined. - You have worked across Europe and the US and know how a story needs to flex from one market to the other. - You care about proof: case studies, customer voices and numbers matter more to you than slogans. - You are low ego and high ownership, and you like building a team and a function from the ground up. LOCATION Paris/London, hybrid: 3 days a week on average in our office (8 rue Sainte-Cécile, 75009) or with customers. Regular travel to London and the US. WHAT WE OFFER - Join the early days of one of Europe's most ambitious AI companies, and shape how the world sees it. - Real ownership: a seat at the table with leadership and a function to build. - A team of world-class researchers, engineers and operators who ship. - Competitive salary and equity. - Benefits: health insurance, meal vouchers, transport If you want to change the status quo in AI, join us.

• Partner with R&D SVPs, VPs and senior directors to design and evolve org structures that scale; Serve as a trusted advisor during reorgs and structural changes, helping leaders navigate people impacts with care and clarity.

Secure Every Identity, from AI to HumanIdentity is the key to unlocking the potential of AI. Okta secures AI by building the trusted, neutral infrastructure that enables organizations to safely embrace this new era. This work requires a relentless drive to solve complex challenges with real-world stakes. We are looking for builders and owners who operate with speed and urgency and execute with excellence. This is an opportunity to do career-defining work. We're all in on this mission. If you are too, let's talk.

Staff Software Engineer, Platform & Infrastructure

Tagline: Build the engine that builds Okta.

= Your Mission: Define the Future of Developer Velocity at Okta

Are you a software engineer who believes that an exceptional developer platform is the key to unlocking engineering-wide innovation? Are you obsessed with building the high-leverage tools, services, and automated infrastructure that make building, testing, and deploying software a seamless experience?

Okta's Platform & Infrastructure team is the central nervous system for all of Okta Engineering. We build and own the entire internal developer platform—the CI/CD pipelines, the build-and-test orchestration, and the multi-cloud infrastructure that powers it all.

This isn't just about maintaining systems. It's about building a scalable, resilient, and blazing-fast "paved road" that empowers hundreds of engineers to ship high-quality code, multiple times a day.

Our scale is immense. We run tens of thousands of automated tests for every single commit. As Okta grows, this CI/CD workload presents a monumental engineering challenge.

Your primary goal will be to attack this problem head-on. You will be a key builder in our quest to shrink massive, distributed compute jobs from hours or days down to just minutes. This role requires deep systems thinking, clever orchestration, and a passion for wringing every last drop of performance out of the infrastructure.

= What You'll Do (The Impact)

As a Staff Engineer, you are a technical leader, architect, and hands-on builder. You will:

• Architect & Build: Design, code, and operate the next generation of our CI/CD platform, primarily using Go (Golang) and Python.
• Master Kubernetes: Leverage your deep Kubernetes (K8s) expertise to orchestrate our complex and ephemeral build, test, and deployment workflows at massive scale.
• Own the Multi-Cloud: Build services and automation that abstract and manage workloads extensively across AWS, GCP, and Azure, optimizing for cost, speed, and reliability.
• Build a Platform, Not Just Tools: Create robust, self-service, and elegant internal products for our engineers. You'll treat our internal developers as your first-class customers.
• Drive Innovation: You will not just use our build and CI systems, you will be responsible for building and scaling them.
• Mentor & Lead: Collaborate with peers, mentor other engineers, and set the technical direction for major platform initiatives.

✅ What You'll Bring (The Requirements)

We are looking for a seasoned engineer who has built and scaled internal platforms before.

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering
• Coding Skills: You are a strong software engineer first, with proven experience building and maintaining complex systems in Go (Golang) and/or Python.
• Kubernetes is a Must: You have deep, practical experience building, running, and troubleshooting workloads on Kubernetes. You understand pods, operators, scheduling, and networking inside and out.
