HR (People) M&A Lead
KrakenUnited States
BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system. Before you apply, we encourage you to explore our culture page to understand what drives us and how we work. THE TEAM Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients. Payward is hiring a HR (People) M&A Lead to own the people side of our M&A activity end to end — from first-pass diligence through close and integration. Reporting directly to our CPO, this is a high-pace, high-volume seat that needs someone who thrives on fast turnarounds and incomplete information. We're looking for an in-house operator with an analyst's mindset who can use AI to move fast through messy data rooms, but whose real edge is judgment knowing what risks matter and when to deviate. THE OPPORTUNITY - Own the people's workstream of Payward's M&A activity end to end — from first-pass diligence through close and integration. - Build and own PX due diligence questionnaire (DDQ) including data requests and questions to the target, follow-ups and deeper-dive workshops - Crunch high-volume, low-structure data rooms — employment contracts, org data, comp and equity files, policies, claims history — using AI and automation to compress review cycles. - Filter signal from noise: translate hundreds of findings into a short list of flags scored against Payward's risk tolerance, with a clear recommendation attached to each. - Lead the drafting of the people-side deal mechanics: comp modelling, equity treatment, retention and earn-out structures, and deal-specific considerations that hold up in negotiation with founders. - Sit in the room with corp dev, legal, finance and PX leadership — leverage SMEs and push recommendations upward, defending them with data. - Act as PX program manager during integration after signing: support org design, levelling and comp harmonisation, retention execution, and Day 1 people readiness. - Turn each deal into reusable infrastructure and learnings — playbooks, DDQ templates, risk scoring, and automation that make the next deal faster. WHAT YOU BRING - 8+ years across M&A people/HR diligence, integration, total rewards, or corp dev — with hands-on ownership of the people workstream on completed deals. - A track record of running multi-diligence processes in tandem, to a hard timeline: knowing what to prioritize or defer - Strong analytical depth — comfortable modelling comp, equity, dilution, retention cost and integration spend directly, not briefing someone else to do it. - Global/cross-border deal experience with multi-jurisdiction and/or regulatory change of control employment considerations. - Demonstrated use of AI and automation to review large document volumes, with judgement about where the model's output can and cannot be trusted. - Ability to make and communicate risk calls on incomplete information, and to state a position clearly to executive stakeholders. - Credibility in founder-facing negotiation conversations on comp, equity and retention structures. - Rigorous confidentiality instincts and comfort operating on live, undisclosed transactions. - High agency in ambiguity — deals move, scope shifts, and no one hands over a finished process. NICE TO HAVES - Crypto, fintech or regulated financial services acquisition experience. - Experience integrating founder-led or early-stage teams into a larger platform. - Prior work building a diligence or integration playbook from scratch. Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution. We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance. OUR COMMITMENT Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgeable about crypto. We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process. These assessments evaluate competencies relevant to the role and are applied consistently across candidates for similar positions. Results are considered alongside experience and interviews, and are not the sole basis for any employment decision. As an equal opportunity employer, we don't tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind, whether based on race, ethnicity, age, gender identity, citizenship, religion, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic as outlined by federal, state, or local laws. Manager Enablement, Program Manager
ToastRemote

About Toast

Toast creates technology to help restaurants and local businesses succeed in a digital world, helping business owners operate, increase sales, engage customers, and keep employees happy.

Role Overview

The Manager Enablement Program Manager is the strategic architect responsible for enabling, scaling, and governing the holistic onboarding, continuous development, and coaching infrastructure for people managers globally across Customer Care and Customer Success (CS). This senior individual contributor role defines how Toast builds its leadership bench and empowers managers to transform talent into high-performing contributors within a complex operational ecosystem.

Serving as a thought leader within the Enablement organization and a trusted partner to Care and CS Directors and Senior Leaders, this role bridges the gap between leadership development and business-critical KPIs. By applying advanced data analytics, adult learning principles, and modern AI tools, you will build a predictable, scalable ecosystem that equips managers to drive consistent team performance across key metrics such as CSAT, and Net Revenue Retention. This role will guide managers through the governance of high velocity tech changes to policy, procedure, and platforms to ensure high adoption and clear post enablement impact.

A Day in the Life (Responsibilities)

Strategic Program Management & Governance

  • Design, contract, and scale end-to-end Manager Training & Enablement programs aimed at robust bench building, leadership development, and continuous professional growth.
  • Partner with Care Operations, CS and CSO leadership to shape the overall manager investment strategy bringing consensus and acquiring buy-in to a shared vision and roadmap.
  • Build and govern standardized coaching playbooks, behavioral rubrics, and coaching certifications to ensure global manager consistency and talent transformation.
  • Establish operational rhythms and governance frameworks that empower managers to effectively leverage insights tools and drive high-impact coaching sessions with AI based manager 1:1 dashboards and transcription analysis.

AI Coaching Modules & Ecosystem Innovation

  • Architect and transition the standard manager training lifecycle into a closed-loop system by designing, piloting, and scaling autonomous AI coaching modules and simulation systems.
  • Integrate AI voice and text-based role-play tools into a manager "practice arena" to simulate high-complexity coaching, performance management, and alignment scenarios to assist managers with the development of their direct reports.
  • Optimize modern AI tools and LLM-based tech to build engaging, hyper-personalized manager support tools that empower leaders to be highly effective.

Tailored Enablement Delivery & Architecture

  • Develop specialized, distinct enablement pathways that address the priority KPIs of Customer Care (TTR/C (Time to Resolve/Close), CSAT (Customer Satisfaction), Transfer Rate, and AHT (Average Handle Time)) and CSM KPIs (Save Rate, Churn Mitigation, Downsell prevention).
  • Drive key manager KPIs in Coaching Compliance, Coaching Effectiveness, and Manager Engagement.
  • Design, build, and iterate on the onboarding design for new managers, including newly promoted, as well as the continuous development and enablement of tenured managers.
  • Ensure managers are deeply versed on organizational, product, and process changes, and fully equipped to translate those changes effectively to their teams during Huddles and dedicated coaching sessions to ensure adoption and effective application by their agents.

Influence, Analytics & Evaluation

  • Align and influence cross-functional Senior Leader and Director-level stakeholders as a trusted thought partner, managing massive programmatic changes across distributed teams.
  • Proactively identify global areas of opportunity to support managers and leadership, providing ready solutions backed by a high rigor of analytical and performance assessment.
  • Lead as a Center of Excellence globally, evaluating behavioral opportunity areas and structuring remedial manager initiatives both internally as well as shared with BPO partners.
  • Establish robust post-enablement measurement frameworks to evaluate learning impact, leveraging AI analytics to track real-world performance improvements and core business KPIs.

What You'll Need to Thrive (Requirements)

  • 5-8 years of experience delivering high-impact enablement, training infrastructure, leadership development curriculum, or performance coaching strategies within a fast-paced SaaS, Fintech, or fast-growth tech environment.
  • Demonstrated ability as a senior leader to align cross-functional VP and Director-level stakeholders, manage massive programmatic changes, and drive process discipline across fragmented teams.
  • Proven domain expertise navigating both transactional/queue-based operational environments (Customer Care/Support) and relationship-driven commercial environments (Customer Success/Account Management).
  • A strong portfolio of work demonstrating the ability to take an ambiguous, loosely defined objective and turn it into a scalable, repeatable corporate program.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, with an advanced degree in Adult Learning, Organizational Development, or a related discipline highly preferred.
  • Power-user familiarity with modern customer stacks, learning tools, and data analytics dashboards (e.g., Salesforce, CRMs, LMS tools, and AI platform assistants).

Nice to Haves

  • Ability to leverage AI technology to deliver and measure proven learning impact, moving beyond traditional completion rates to extract deep leader performance insights.
  • Proven ability to leverage AI to analyze complex leadership learning opportunities, recommend and gain buy-in on the right solution for complicated business needs, and follow through to completion.
  • Prior experience managing managers and coaching coaches, as a force multiplier across a multi-team organization.
  • Prior experience working within the restaurant and/or tech space, or a deep personal understanding of restaurant operations and hospitality.
  • Self-motivated disposition with a relentless "fixer" mindset—the ability to see the big picture and solve root-cause problems rather than immediate symptoms.
  • Project management certifications (such as PMP or PMO framework familiarity) or a proven track record of applying formal project management methodologies to scale complex enablement lifecycles.

Senior Enablement Project Manager

Senior Enablement Project Manager

Toast is driven by building the restaurant platform that helps restaurants adapt, take control, and get back to what they do best: building the businesses they love.

As a Senior Enablement Project Manager, you'll own the launch governance and readiness system for a portfolio of products, using strong project management skills and change management experience to drive product proficiency across our customers, partners, and employees. This role is critical to ensuring that as Toast's product velocity accelerates, customers and Toasters can actually absorb what's shipping, adopt it, support it, and get value from it.

You'll partner closely with Product, Product Marketing, and downstream enablement teams, including Care, Onboarding, Customer Success Managers, Learning Design, Knowledge, and Training, to define how launches get tiered, sequenced, and readied, and you'll mentor Enablement Project Managers on the team as they plan and coordinate the work behind individual launches.

About this roll* (Responsibilities)

  • Own the launch governance system for a portfolio of complex, cross-functional product launches with competing priorities and multiple stakeholders: define how changes get tiered, sequence work across teams, and set the readiness checkpoints that determine whether a launch is ready to proceed.
  • Act as an authoritative source of knowledge across Product, Product Marketing, and downstream enablement teams, and build the cross-functional alignment needed to coordinate teams that haven't previously worked together.
  • Proactively identify and resolve risk with senior stakeholders: flag portfolio-level issues like conflicting timelines or launches missing an owner, apply root-cause analysis, and bring data-backed recommendations that gain buy-in from leadership.
  • Lead recurring cross-functional syncs and represent the launch portfolio to executive and senior stakeholders, adapting your message for technical and non-technical audiences and championing the value of the work.
  • Define success metrics and readiness criteria for the launches you own, track impact and monitor for confusion or support gaps after go-live, and contribute to closing the post-launch feedback loop, connecting what Care and customers experience back to Product.
  • Deliver complex launches on time, adapting your approach mid-execution as scope or business needs shift, and present executive-level retrospectives with measurable outcomes and lessons learned.
  • Mentor Enablement Project Managers on the team, sharing project management best practices and contributing to how the broader team runs its portfolio of work.
  • Drive how the team uses AI and other tools to scale: structure launch information so it can be classified, routed, and summarized efficiently, and codify the criteria for when a launch should be staggered, bundled, accelerated, or paused, so judgment concentrates where it matters most as launch volume grows.

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • 8+ years experience in Project Management, Product Enablement Operations, or Product Management in a fast-paced, high-growth, and high-output environment, including experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Track record of gaining buy-in from senior stakeholders and leadership on ambiguous, cross-functional business problems, and of championing the value of your work to executive audiences.
  • Experience building or improving the systems and processes a team uses to get work done, not just executing within existing ones.
  • Experience mentoring or developing other project managers and contributing to how a broader team or function runs its portfolio of work.
  • Proven experience using AI and other tools to build more efficient, scalable systems and processes.
  • Experience and proficiency with various project management tools (e.g., Asana, Google Suite, Jira).
  • Formal project management training or certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus.

Enablement Project Manager

Toast is driven by building the restaurant platform that helps restaurants adapt, take control, and get back to what they do best: building the businesses they love.

As an Enablement Project Manager, you’ll utilize your strong project management skills and change management experience to drive product proficiency across our customers, partners, and employees. This role is critical to ensuring that when Toast ships new products and platform changes, customers and Toasters actually know how to adopt them, support them, and get value from them.

You'll partner closely with Product, Product Marketing, and downstream enablement teams, including Care, Onboarding, Customer Success Managers, Learning Design, Knowledge, and Training, to plan and coordinate the readiness work behind every launch.

About this roll* (Responsibilities)

  • Independently own launch readiness planning for a portfolio of moderately complex, multi-team product launches, from initial scoping through close: partner with Product Managers to identify downstream impacts, tier each change based on customer and Toaster impact, and build the enablement plan a launch needs to succeed.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with Care, Onboarding, Customer Success Managers, Learning Design, Knowledge, and Training, and become a reliable source of knowledge for the product area you support.
  • Identify gaps in project scope or launch plans, align stakeholders on any changes, and surface issues before they escalate. Apply root-cause analysis to understand why a launch is at risk, and bring data-backed recommendations to your manager and stakeholders.
  • Lead recurring cross-functional project syncs, adapting your communication style for technical and non-technical audiences, and proactively share data on launch health
  • Define success metrics for each launch and track impact and monitor for confusion or support gaps after go-live, using what you learn to close gaps and improve how future launches are planned.
  • Deliver launches on time with minimal oversight, and produce a project evaluation or retrospective the team can use to improve future launches.
  • Look for opportunities to use AI and other tools to work more efficiently and raise the quality of your output, bringing new ideas and approaches to the team.

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • 5+ years experience in Project Management, Product Enablement Operations, or Product Management in a fast-paced, high-growth, and high-output environment
  • Comfortable using AI-assisted tools to work more efficiently, with curiosity about how new technology can improve project execution and outcomes
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple large, cross-functional projects, deliverables, and competing priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with a track record of success.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage senior level stakeholders, and hold partners to requirements and timelines in a fast change velocity environment.
  • Ability to analyze requests and recommend the right solutions for complicated business needs. Excel at gaining buy-in across multiple departments. Keen ability to showcase the impact of your work upon completion.
  • Experience and proficiency with various project management tools (e.g., Asana, Google Suite, Jira)
  • Formal project management training or certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus.

Senior Security Engineer, Vulnerability Management
DatadogBoston, Massachusetts, USA

Senior Security Engineer, Vulnerability Management

Here at Datadog, we think about vulnerability management a little differently. We embrace open source software, recognize our role in the software supply chain, and see attackers weaponizing vulnerabilities faster than ever. We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer who can combine vulnerability-management judgment with hands-on engineering to help us scale and improve our vulnerability lifecycle across Datadog’s multi-cloud products and services.

In this role, you will turn ambiguous security problems into clear solutions, and work with engineering teams to address root causes and develop technical controls that reduce vulnerabilities earlier in the SDLC. You’ll use AI and automation to help scale the overall vulnerability lifecycle across Datadog. You will use data and sound technical judgment to prioritize risk, and partner with security, product, platform, and compliance teams to bring scalable solutions into practice.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds, and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

What You’ll Do

  • Work across the vulnerability lifecycle from detection and impact assessment through risk-based prioritization, remediation, and verification.
  • Use AI and automation to build tools, services, and workflows that make security ideas concrete, validate them quickly, and create alignment for scalable implementation.
  • Reduce engineering toil through a “PRs, not tickets” approach, using automation to enrich findings, identify ownership, recommend or deliver fixes, and track outcomes.
  • Analyze recurring vulnerabilities and remediation failures to identify root causes and opportunities to prevent issues earlier in the SDLC.
  • Partner with SDLC Security, Product Security, platform teams, and engineering teams to balance technical constraints, business impact, and risk; communicate concerns early and pair problems with actionable options.
  • Provide evidence and subject matter expertise for vulnerability management processes and controls for multiple compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, PCI, FedRAMP, ISO)

Who You Are

  • You have experience identifying, prioritizing, and driving remediation of vulnerabilities in large software, cloud, or infrastructure environments.
  • You can independently solve complex technical problems using one or more programming languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
  • You have experience with cloud-native or multi-cloud environments, containers or orchestration platforms, infrastructure as code, and modern software-delivery workflows.
  • You have experience reproducing and validating externally reported vulnerabilities.
  • You use data, exploitability, exposure, technical context, and business impact to make and explain risk decisions.
  • You are comfortable making progress without a complete specification: you break problems down, test assumptions, fail fast, document tradeoffs, and adjust when new information emerges.
  • You use AI-assisted tools thoughtfully, validate their output, and can explain the reasoning behind your decisions.
  • You influence across security, engineering, product, and compliance teams through clear communication, technical credibility, and solutions that reduce friction.
  • You have a BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related scientific field, or equivalent practical experience

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That’s okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.

Benefits and Growth

  • New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP)
  • Continuous professional development, product training, and career pathing
  • Intradepartmental mentor and buddy program for in-house networking
  • An inclusive company culture and the ability to join our Community Guilds (Datadog employee resource groups)
  • Access to Inclusion Talks, our internal panel discussions
  • Free, global mental health benefits for employees and dependents age 6+
  • Competitive global benefits

*Benefits and Growth listed above may vary based on the country of your employment and the nature of your employment with Datadog.

Product Operations Specialist | Juno
RampNew York, NY (HQ)
ABOUT RAMP Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books. The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving. We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome. The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same. If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it. ABOUT THE ROLE You will build and run the operating systems that help Juno ship reliably and support customers as we scale. On the product operations side, you will turn product decisions into clear operating plans, maintain visibility in Linear, coordinate customer testing and launch readiness, keep commitments and risks visible, and make sure product changes are communicated clearly. You will partner closely with product and engineering to make decisions executable, keep work organized, surface gaps and dependencies, and ensure the team follows through on what it has committed to ship. On the customer support side, you will be the first line of defense when customers encounter product issues. You will triage and investigate problems, coordinate the right response, and redirect travel-service questions to our travel partners. Because you sit close to both the product process and the customer, you will turn recurring friction into clear insights, accountable follow-up, and better operating systems. Success means Juno ships through a lightweight and dependable process, customers understand what changed, risks and commitments do not get lost, recurring issues reach the right owners, and support demand does not grow one-for-one with the business. Please note that this Product Operations role will require you to be comfortable with working in-person at our NYC HQ (located near Madison Square Park) at least 2 days/week WHAT YOU’LL DO - Provide holistic support through the entire launch lifecycle across program management, customer testing, launch readiness, change management, customer communication, and post-launch iteration. Own and improve Juno's shipping process so the right reviews, testing, documentation, internal enablement, and customer updates happen at the right time. - Maintain Linear as a reliable operating system for projects, owners, milestones, dependencies, status, and product decisions. Surface risks early and follow through until they are resolved. - Serve as the first line of defense for product-related customer issues across email and chat, join customer calls when needed, manage escalations to resolution, and route travel-service questions to the right partner. - Be the voice of the customer in product decisions. Analyze support trends and customer feedback, diagnose recurring friction, size the problems you find, and translate messy input into clear findings, recommended actions, prioritization input, and accountable follow-up for product and engineering. - Build AI-powered workflows, automations, knowledge systems, and self-service experiences that improve the quality and speed of product operations and customer support. WHAT YOU NEED - 3+ years of experience in product operations, program management, customer experience, technical support, consulting, or another customer-facing analytical role in a fast-moving software company. - You are highly process-oriented. You can turn ambiguous cross-functional work into clear owners, milestones, decisions, and next steps without creating unnecessary bureaucracy. - You actively use AI to get real work done and can show us what you have automated, analyzed, or built. - You can use qualitative feedback and data to identify patterns, diagnose root causes, size problems, and measure whether a product or operational fix reduced customer friction. - You write with precision and empathy. You can explain a complicated product change or technical issue clearly, without jargon or filler. - You run toward ownership, move quickly without losing the details, and can drive clarity across product, engineering, customer success, customers, and external partners. NICE-TO-HAVES - Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, debugging, or data analysis, even if you do not write production code. - Experience in B2B SaaS, travel, fintech, or another operationally complex product. BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL) - Flexible PTO - Centralized home-office equipment ordering - Health and wellness stipend - Budget for intra-office travel - Weekly coffee stipend UNITED STATES - 100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you, with partial coverage for dependents - One Medical annual membership - 401(k), including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp - Fertility HRA (up to $10,000 per year) - Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay - Pet insurance - In-office perks: lunch, snacks, drinks, and more - Relocation expense coverage to NYC or SF (if needed) CANADA - Group medical, dental, and vision coverage through Sun Life - Life, AD&D, and disability coverage - Fertility drug coverage (up to $4,000 lifetime) - Group Retirement Plan with employer match (RRSP + DPSP) - Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay, with additional time available at reduced pay - Employee Assistance Program and virtual care through Lumino Health UNITED KINGDOM - Private medical insurance through Freedom Elite - Virtual GP and at-home care via eMed x Livi - Workplace pension through Penfold, with salary sacrifice option - Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay with additional time available at reduced pay REFERRAL INSTRUCTIONS If you are being referred for the role, please contact that person to apply on your behalf. Executive Search Lead
KrakenSan Francisco, US [Remote]
BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system. Before you apply, we encourage you to explore our culture page to understand what drives us and how we work. THE TEAM We're an agile, globally distributed talent acquisition team with the creativity, expertise and ambition to revolutionize talent attraction — built around productivity and a 6-star candidate experience. Our norms are direct, our decisions are fast, and we expect people to operate without scaffolding. This role sits in the Talent team and runs as a Payward-wide shared service across Payward, NinjaTrader, Reap and future acquisitions. It reports to our Global Head of Talent Acquisition with a dotted line to our Chief People Officer. Executive recruiting here is its own discipline — smaller rooms, higher stakes, the same directness and speed we expect everywhere else. Discretion is part of the craft: this hire will handle confidential searches, sensitive succession conversations and market intelligence that never leaves the room, and will be trusted to hold all of it. They'll work directly with our Board, C-Suite and broader Payward leadership team on a daily basis. THE OPPORTUNITY - Own executive recruiting end to end across the Payward platform spanning C-level, Board, VP+ and bespoke Advisor mandates. - Partner directly with the Co-CEOs and the executive team on the searches that matter most, absorbing their pace and operating as a trusted advisor. - Run board and advisory mandates with the discretion they require. Confidentiality here is structural, not a preference. - Define how executive hiring scales as a shared service across a growing, multi-brand platform. - Own the external search partner strategy: managing relationships with key retained firms, and ensuring seamless partnership if and when they are engaged. - Report to the Head of Talent and operate as a member of the talent leadership team, with a dotted line into the Chief People Officer. WHAT YOU BRING - 6+ years of executive recruiting experience, with demonstrable ownership of executive searches (VP, C-level, Board) from mandate through close. - A selection mindset over a screening one. You calibrate candidates against business strategy and can defend a shortlist to a skeptical executive audience. - Closing and negotiation strength at executive level: pre-closing, offer construction, equity and comp complexity. - Experience partnering closely with Compensation & Benefits and the HR business partners to ensure full alignment throughout a search lifecycle. - Business acumen to understand and pitch a complex platform business credibly. Executive candidates buy the thesis, not the job spec. - Proven agency and retained-firm management — briefing, accountability and spend control. - Exceptional written and verbal English at executive register. - Discretion by default, with a track record of executive searches quietly. - Comfort operating in ambiguity, with responsiveness to candidates and executives across all time zones. - Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, given the proximity this role requires to our executives and to board and advisory mandates. NICE TO HAVES - In-house executive recruiting experience at a fintech, brokerage, exchange or payments company. - Background inside a retained executive search firm, in addition to in-house work. - Experience building executive recruiting as a shared service across multiple entities, or across multiple portfolio companies - Exposure to crypto or digital assets. You combine deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to position Databricks as the foundation of your customers’ data and AI strategy. You are developing a technical specialisation (archetype) and are recognised within your team for depth in a specific domain.

  • Lead complex architecture discussions — designing scalable, production-grade solutions spanning data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customer architects, engineering leads, and Directors
  • Drive technical wins in competitive scenarios by demonstrating Databricks’ differentiation through custom-built solutions

  • Orchestrate cross-functional resources (Delivery, Specialist & Partner Solution Architects) to deliver comprehensive solutions for complex customer needs
  • Influence product direction by providing structured feedback on customer requirements and competitive gaps

What We Look For

  • 6+ years in solutions architecture, data engineering, technical pre-sales and/or a senior hands-on technical role
  • Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL — you must demonstrate live coding, debugging, and solution-building skills
  • Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture: designing scalable pipelines, streaming architectures, lakehouse patterns, and cloud-native data platforms
  • Proficient on the Databricks Platform (or demonstrated ability to achieve proficiency rapidly) with a developing technical specialisation in one area (e.g., real-time/streaming, ML/AI, data governance, migrations)
  • Proven ability to lead architecture discussions with senior technical stakeholders — whiteboarding, design reviews, and trade-off analysis
  • Experience with production deployments on public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including infrastructure, security, and governance considerations
  • Track record of driving platform adoption and consumption growth within accounts
  • Excellent communication skills — able to translate complex architectures into business value for both technical and executive audiences
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline (or equivalent experience)

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in Oil & Gas and/or Manufacturing industry domains will be beneficial
  • Databricks certifications (Data Engineer, ML, Platform)
  • Experience with competitive platforms (Snowflake, AWS native services, Azure Synapse) — understanding the landscape you'll position against
  • Background in a data/AI company or cloud provider

Note: This will be an office-based contract (Amsterdam), with a hybrid schedule. The offer contract will be set for an initial 12-month fixed term, with the intention to extend upon successful completion of the probation period.

As a Fungible Solutions Architect, you lead the technical strategy on time-boxed, targeted engagements - typically one to five months - aimed at accelerating a specific set of critical customer workloads from evaluation to a production-grade technical win. You own the architecture conversation, drive platform adoption, and act as a trusted advisor to customer architects and engineering leaders, then transition the momentum you've built to the core account team.

You bring technical depth and the judgment to apply it fast, in situations that require strong ownership and are highly visible. Where a specialisation helps you contribute quickly, great — but on this team, breadth, adaptability, and a bias for impact matter just as much as your area of depth.

The impact you will have

  • Accelerate what matters most: parachute into strategic, high-profile opportunities and own a clearly defined technical area, moving critical workloads and use cases from evaluation toward production and consumption.
  • Lead the architecture: design scalable, production-grade solutions across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics, and lead the whiteboarding, design reviews, and trade-off decisions with senior customer stakeholders.
  • Win the technical decision: demonstrate Databricks' differentiation through custom-built solutions in competitive, must-win scenarios.
  • Move fast while maintaining the bar: establish momentum quickly in ambiguous situations and compress timelines without cutting corners.
  • Hand off, don't hold on: package your progress into a clean transition to core SAs, DSAs, specialists, or partners so wins are sustained and expanded after you move to the next engagement.
  • Scale: bring back patterns, plays, and product feedback that make every engagement after yours faster.

What we look for

We care more about how you think and the impact you've had than about a specific checklist. You'll likely bring most of the following, and if you're missing one or two but bring something we haven't thought of, we still want to hear from you!

  • Several years of experience (typically ~6+) in solutions architecture, data engineering, technical pre-sales, or a senior hands-on technical role, or a track record that demonstrates equivalent depth.
  • Hands-on coding ability in Python and SQL, with the ability to build, debug, and demonstrate working solutions live.
  • Depth in distributed data systems and production cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), scalable pipelines, streaming, and lakehouse patterns, plus the infrastructure, security, and governance to run them.
  • Proficiency on the Databricks Platform, or a demonstrated ability to ramp on new technology quickly. A strong "spike" in an area such as real-time/streaming, ML/AI, data governance, or migrations helps you add value fast.
  • Experience leading architecture discussions with senior technical stakeholders, design reviews, trade-off analysis, clear recommendations, and translating complex architecture into business value for both engineers and executives.
  • The temperament this team runs on: comfort with ambiguity and time-boxed engagements, strong prioritisation, and a genuine preference for variety and high-impact work.

Nice to haves

Given our role in the Field Engineering organisation, we are always looking to expand the depth our team can offer with your areas of specialisation. Any of the following would be a valuable addition to the team!

  • Databricks certifications (Data Engineer, ML, or Platform).
  • Familiarity with competitive platforms (Snowflake, AWS native services, Azure Synapse) and how to position against them.
  • Background in a data/AI company or cloud provider.
  • Depth in an industry vertical (Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail, Media, and others).
