1) Overview

We respect intellectual-property rights and expect our users and data partners to do the same. This policy describes how to submit copyright infringement notices and counter-notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. §512 ("DMCA").

Jobdit primarily displays links and limited metadata about publicly available job listings from third-party sources. We do not host most third-party content, but we will review any properly-formatted DMCA notice referencing material available on or through Jobdit.

2) Designated DMCA Agent

Scraplay LLC — Attn: DMCA Agent

30 N Gould St, STE R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA

Email: dmca@scraplay.com

Alternate: legal@scraplay.com

Important: Email is preferred for fastest processing. Submissions to other addresses may be delayed.

3) How to File a DMCA Takedown Notice

To request removal/disablement of material you believe infringes your copyright, send a notice to our DMCA Agent containing all of the following (DMCA §512(c)(3)):

  1. Your identification: full legal name, company (if applicable), mailing address, email, and phone.
  2. Copyrighted work: a description of the work you claim is infringed (or a representative list if multiple works at a single online location).
  3. Location of the material on Jobdit: exact URL(s) on jobdit.co (and, if different, the third-party source URL) that you claim are infringing.
  4. Statement of good faith: "I have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
  5. Statement of accuracy and authority: "The information in this notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf."
  6. Signature: a physical or electronic signature of the owner or authorized agent (typing your full name qualifies for electronic signature).

If your notice lacks required elements, we may be unable to act on it.

What we do upon receipt: We may remove or disable access to the identified material, notify the user or source involved (if applicable), and document the action. We may also forward your notice—including your contact info—to that party.

4) How to File a Counter-Notice

If your material was removed or disabled and you believe it was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to our DMCA Agent containing:

  1. Your full name, address, phone number, and email.
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location where the material appeared before it was removed/disabled (the Jobdit URL).
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury: "I have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled."
  4. A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district of your address, or if outside the U.S., for any judicial district in which Scraplay may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice or their agent.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next: If we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. Unless the complainant notifies us within 10 business days that they have filed an action seeking a court order to restrain you from engaging in the infringing activity, we may restore the material not earlier than 10 and not later than 14 business days after sending the counter-notice.

5) Repeat-Infringer Policy

In appropriate circumstances and in our discretion, we may suspend or terminate accounts or access associated with users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We also accommodate and do not interfere with standard technical measures used by copyright owners to protect their works (DMCA §512(i)).

6) Notices Unrelated to Copyright

This DMCA process is only for copyright issues. For trademark or other legal concerns, contact legal@scraplay.com with sufficient details; we will provide the appropriate process.

7) Accuracy & Misuse

Submitting false, misleading, or bad-faith notices or counter-notices may result in legal liability, including damages and attorneys' fees (DMCA §512(f)). Please ensure you are authorized and your claims are accurate before filing.

8) Privacy

We may share complete DMCA notices and counter-notices—including contact information—with the affected party and, in some cases, publish them (e.g., to transparency databases). By submitting a notice, you consent to this disclosure.

9) Changes to This Policy

We may update this DMCA Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" will indicate the latest version. Your continued use of Jobdit after changes constitutes acceptance.
