A company grants (read-only) access to their repo to an AI agent analyzes the architecture and creates a relevant, real-world assignment based on actual project logic (e.g., "Add a new endpoint to our specific Auth service").
The candidate gets an ephemeral code environment to solve it and finally the agent provides a report (how well they followed existing patterns) but the final hire/no-hire stays manual.

Recently I had a thought.
Most hiring platforms still feel like they’re stuck in 2010:

• long lists of jobs
• opening many tabs to compare
• reading each job description manually
• repeating the same search filters over and over
• ticking checkboxes, selecting filters and dropdowns manually

Even when AI is added, the interface is still basically a dashboard + search filters.
But what if recruiting was built chat-first?
For example:
User:
“I’m a React developer with 3 years of experience looking for remote jobs around $2k–$3k/month.”
AI:
“I found 14 roles that match. Would you like to see the top 5 or compare them?”
User:
“Compare the top 3.”
AI:
“Here’s the comparison: salary, company size, tech stack, visa requirements, etc.”
The same idea could apply to recruiters:
Recruiter:

AI returns candidates and even suggests outreach messages.
No dashboards.
