Key Responsibilities

Required Skills and Qualifications

The Senior Software Engineer – Engine is expected to work with minimal oversight and to collaborate actively with their customers to deliver well crafted systems that meet all design and technical requirements. They will report to the Studio Technical Director, but will work independently within various feature groups.

Be the primary owner of rendering and performance features
Work well within Unreal’s existing technology and best practices to achieve results
Understand or be willing to specialize in modern rendering pipelines and GPU/CPU performance considerations
Develop pipeline safeguards to ensure assets are made efficiently and with performance in mind
Provide tools, guidelines and and best practices on Unreal PCG usage

Be the champion of performance best practices
