Manager, Enterprise Technical Consulting
RampNew York, NY (HQ)
ABOUT RAMP Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books. The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving. We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome. The median Ramp customer saves % and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same. If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it. ABOUT THE ROLE Technical Consulting is Ramp's post-sales technical delivery team. When a finance org needs Ramp to work the way their business actually runs, this is the team that takes customers through that transformation, from complex accounting issues to integration errors to everything in between. The Senior Manager, Technical Consulting, Strategic leads the team responsible for Ramp's largest and most strategic accounts. You'll own post-sales technical implementation for this segment end to end — from technical discovery and solution design through go-live, adoption, and expansion — working shoulder-to-shoulder with our Customer Activation team, with whom you'll co-own activation milestones and time-to-value. Strategic customers arrive with multi-entity structures, legacy ERPs, in-flight finance transformations, procurement and treasury requirements, and executive sponsors who expect a named technical leader in the room. Your team is the last line of technical escalation for these accounts — there is no tier above you. This role suits an experienced leader who can hold two things at once: the operating rigor to run a delivery function at scale, and the technical credibility to sit across from a Controller or VP of Finance and design the solution live. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Lead and grow the Strategic Technical Consulting team — coach senior and principal-level consultants, own hiring, onboarding, performance, and career architecture, and build a bench deep enough to scale with the segment - Own post-sales technical implementation for Ramp's largest accounts — accountable for solution quality, delivery timelines, and technical outcomes across the portfolio - Co-own activation milestones with Customer Activation — build a joint operating model where TC drives technical design and Activation drives adoption and enablement, with shared accountability for time-to-value and a single, coherent customer experience - Serve as the terminal escalation point for complex technical and delivery challenges — ERP integration failures, custom API work, at-risk go-lives, and commitments made pre-sales that need to be re-scoped - Define the Strategic delivery model — scoping standards, solution design review, rules of engagement with CSM/Activation, staffing and capacity models, and quality bars that hold up under enterprise scrutiny - Run the function with operational rigor — forecast capacity, balance workload across accounts, instrument the team with KPIs (time-to-value, go-live on-time rate, escalation volume, adoption and expansion attach), and use the data in coaching and planning - Partner cross-functionally at the leadership level — Customer Activation, Strategic CSM and AM, Sales, Product, Engineering, and GTM Ops — to align on roadmap, feedback loops, and segment strategy - Turn field insight into product influence — synthesize what Strategic customers actually need, champion it with Product and Engineering, and close the loop back to the field - Set precedent where none exists — make sound calls in ambiguous, high-stakes situations, document the reasoning, and teach the team to do the same WHAT YOU NEED - 5+ years in technical consulting, solutions architecture, implementation, or professional services — with substantial time on enterprise or strategic accounts - 2-3+ years managing individual contributors and owning team-level outcomes; experience managing senior or principal-level ICs strongly preferred - Proven track record owning post-sales implementation for large, complex customers — multi-entity, multi-system, executive-sponsored engagements - Deep fluency in ERP and financial systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Oracle, Workday Financials, Microsoft Dynamics), APIs, SSO/HRIS integrations, and core accounting workflows (chart of accounts, subsidiaries, approval hierarchies, month-end close) - Ability to assess and guide technical solution design at enterprise complexity — and to tell the difference between a configuration problem, a product gap, and a customer process problem - Experience building the operating model between two functions — . delivery and onboarding, or services and customer success — and making shared accountability actually work - Executive-grade communication — able to hold the room with a CFO or Controller, advocate for your team internally, and translate technical trade-offs into business consequences - Demonstrated judgment in ambiguity and a bias toward ownership in a fast-changing, high-growth environment NICE TO HAVE - Experience at an ERP or financial systems vendor (Workday, NetSuite/Oracle, Sage Intacct, Coupa) or in a Big 4 / systems integrator implementation practice - Background in fintech, spend management, or AP automation - Experience standing up or scaling a technical consulting / professional services function from an early stage - Experience managing managers or team leads, or building the career ladder for a technical IC track BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL) - Flexible PTO - Centralized home-office equipment ordering - Health and wellness stipend - Budget for intra-office travel - Weekly coffee stipend UNITED STATES - 100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you, with partial coverage for dependents - One Medical annual membership - 401(k), including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp - Fertility HRA (up to $10,000 per year) - Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay - Pet insurance - In-office perks: lunch, snacks, drinks, and more - Relocation expense coverage to NYC or SF (if needed) CANADA - Group medical, dental, and vision coverage through Sun Life - Life, AD&D, and disability coverage - Fertility drug coverage (up to $4,000 lifetime) - Group Retirement Plan with employer match (RRSP + DPSP) - Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay, with additional time available at reduced pay - Employee Assistance Program and virtual care through Lumino Health UNITED KINGDOM - Private medical insurance through Freedom Elite - Virtual GP and at-home care via eMed x Livi - Workplace pension through Penfold, with salary sacrifice option - Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay with additional time available at reduced pay REFERRAL INSTRUCTIONS If you are being referred for the role, please contact that person to apply on your behalf. The median Ramp customer saves % and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same. If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it. Ramp is hiring Customer Activation Manager for Stack, Ramp's purpose-built AI accounting platform for accounting firms and in-house finance teams. Its agents follow each team's processes across connected systems to complete reviewable accounting work, from recurring tasks through close and reconciliations. You will help customers identify use cases, translate their accounting process into a practical implementation plan, and build trust in agentic bookkeeping through results, impact, and deployment. You will own the customer-facing path from discovery through adoption, partner with specialists on technical setup, and help shape the playbook as the product grows. This role calls for accounting judgment, experience bringing software or process change to life with customers, and an understanding of agentic workflows. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Learn how each customer handles close, reconciliations, journal entries, exceptions, and review today; identify where Stack and agentic workflows can deliver useful value. - Translate the current process into an implementation plan with clear inputs, owners, dependencies, validation steps, and human review. - Guide Controllers, accountants, and other stakeholders from discovery through first use, training, and repeat adoption; adjust the plan when confidence or usage stalls. - Coordinate with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and other Ramp teams on deployments as well as process, systems, and product improvements - Act as an advocate and expert on AI-assisted accounting work - Turn early customer learnings into reusable discovery questions, launch steps, and adoption practices for the next implementation. WHAT YOU’LL NEED - Roughly 4+ years of relevant experience in customer success, software implementation, accounting systems implementation, finance transformation, consulting, or a related customer-facing role; level is flexible based on experience. - Hands-on accounting fluency: you can explain source data, close or reconciliation steps, exceptions, controls, and sign-off with concrete examples. - Experience translating an accounting or finance workflow into a software implementation or process change, with evidence of what improved. - Ownership of customer or client adoption beyond setup, including stakeholder alignment, training, troubleshooting, and follow-through. - Clear communication with both finance leaders and hands-on accountants, especially when a proposed automation needs validation or a change in scope. - Comfort creating a plan and reusable process when the product and implementation motion are still evolving. NICE TO HAVES - CPA, public accounting, controllership, or accounting advisory experience paired with software implementation or consulting. - Experience with accounting automation, close management, or forward-deployed accounting work. - Familiarity with ERP or accounting-system integrations and the data or permission issues that arise during implementation. - Experience helping accounting teams adopt AI-assisted workflows with appropriate human review. BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL) - Flexible PTO - Centralized home-office equipment ordering - Health and wellness stipend - Budget for intra-office travel - Weekly coffee stipend UNITED STATES - 100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you, with partial coverage for dependents - One Medical annual membership - 401(k), including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp - Fertility HRA (up to $10,000 per year) - Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay - Pet insurance - In-office perks: lunch, snacks, drinks, and more - Relocation expense coverage to NYC or SF (if needed) CANADA - Group medical, dental, and vision coverage through Sun Life - Life, AD&D, and disability coverage - Fertility drug coverage (up to $4,000 lifetime) - Group Retirement Plan with employer match (RRSP + DPSP) - Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay, with additional time available at reduced pay - Employee Assistance Program and virtual care through Lumino Health UNITED KINGDOM - Private medical insurance through Freedom Elite - Virtual GP and at-home care via eMed x Livi - Workplace pension through Penfold, with salary sacrifice option - Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay with additional time available at reduced pay REFERRAL INSTRUCTIONS If you are being referred for the role, please contact that person to apply on your behalf. Sr. Compliance Associate - Market Surveillance
KrakenUnited Kingdom
BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system. THE TEAM Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients. Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients. Kraken's Market Surveillance function is responsible for detecting, investigating and reporting market abuse across our regulated trading venues, spanning spot crypto markets, crypto futures, tokenised equities, OTC markets and consumer trading. As our licensing footprint and product range grow, so does the scale and complexity of the surveillance programme behind them. We are hiring several Senior Compliance Associates to carry out day to day surveillance across our markets, investigate what that surveillance uncovers, and help us build the programme out as the business grows. THE OPPORTUNITY - Review and disposition surveillance alerts across our regulated markets, and record the reasoning behind each decision clearly enough that someone else can follow it. - Carry out analytical reviews that begin with trade and order data rather than with a system-generated alert. - Investigate escalated behaviour end to end: gather the data, reconstruct what happened, and write it up for presentation to senior compliance stakeholders. - Assess referrals raised from across the business and externally, and take forward the ones that warrant it. - Draft suspicious transaction and order reports and suspicious activity reports. - Produce management information and regulatory reporting for the entities we cover. - Contribute to surveillance platform and tooling work, including bringing new products and data sources into scope and testing that detection behaves as intended. - Use AI and automation tools to speed up evidence-gathering and case reconstruction, with human judgement over the final call. WHAT YOU BRING - At least 2 years experience in trade surveillance, market abuse investigation or trading conduct inside a regulated firm, such as an exchange, broker-dealer, trading venue, bank or comparable regulated trading business. - Working knowledge of the core market abuse typologies, for example spoofing, layering, wash trading, insider dealing, front running and ramping. - Experience reviewing and dispositioning surveillance alerts, and writing up what you found to a standard others can rely on. - Clear, evidence-first written communication. Your case files and escalations will sometimes be read by auditors and regulators without you in the room to explain them. - Comfort using generative AI and other automation tools to improve the speed and quality of investigative work, while maintaining the oversight that regulated casework requires. - Based in the UK, Ireland, Cyprus, Malta, Romania or Canada, with fluency in English. NICE TO HAVES - Exposure to crypto-asset markets is welcomed but not required. - Hands-on use of a surveillance platform such as Scila, Nasdaq SMARTS, Eventus or NICE Actimize. - SQL or a similar query tool for evidence-gathering. - Experience drafting suspicious transaction and order reports or suspicious activity reports. - Electronic communications surveillance experience. Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution. We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance. OUR COMMITMENT Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgeable about crypto. We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process. These assessments evaluate competencies relevant to the role and are applied consistently across candidates for similar positions. Results are considered alongside experience and interviews, and are not the sole basis for any employment decision. As an equal opportunity employer, we don't tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind, whether based on race, ethnicity, age, gender identity, citizenship, religion, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic as outlined by federal, state, or local laws. HEALTH CAN’T WAIT. Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t. Alan exists to end the wait. Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. Sobre esta função
We are hiring a Senior Compliance Associate Lead to take on our more complex casework, own an area of the surveillance programme, and act as a senior point of reference for the analysts around them. THE OPPORTUNITY - Take the more complex investigations end to end, including those that begin as a referral rather than an alert, and present conclusions to senior compliance stakeholders and the business. - Act as a senior reviewer for colleagues' work, and a point of escalation for judgement calls on how an alert or a case should be treated. - Contribute to threshold and model reviews, recalibrating detection as trading behaviour, products and market structure change. - Support surveillance platform and tooling work, including setting out what detection needs to achieve and validating that it does. - Draft suspicious transaction and order reports and suspicious activity reports. - Contribute to market abuse risk assessment work, and help translate the risks identified into surveillance coverage. WHAT YOU BRING - At least 4 years investigating market abuse or trading conduct inside a firm subject to market conduct regulation. - A track record running investigations end to end, including writing findings up to a standard a regulator can rely on and presenting conclusions to stakeholders. - Solid knowledge of the core market abuse typologies and how they present differently across asset classes. - Hands-on experience with a surveillance platform such as Scila, Nasdaq SMARTS, Eventus or NICE Actimize, and comfort with SQL or a similar query tool. - Exposure to threshold or model calibration, platform integration, or market abuse risk assessment work. - Clear, evidence-first written communication, and the judgement to know when something needs escalating. - Based in the UK, Ireland, Cyprus, Canada, with fluency in English. NICE TO HAVES - Exposure to crypto-asset markets is welcomed but not required. - Experience mentoring or acting as a senior reviewer for less experienced analysts. - Experience of a surveillance platform implementation or build-out.
