The Area Sales Director, Enterprise Sales (Auth0) is responsible for the development and business results of a team of quota-carrying Account Executives in their region. The right Sales Leader for this position should have the ability to increase the productivity of account executives through skill development, adherence to activity standards, providing inspiration, rapid conflict resolution and building a highly empowered, constructive sales culture. We’re looking for a strong leader to take it to the next level.

What you’ll be doing

• Attract, recruit, hire, and mentor the Enterprise Account Executive sales team for Auth0.
• Create an open, inclusive team-oriented environment, building a results-driven culture of accountability and transparency.
• Lead by example, set expectations, follow through effectively and provide coaching and mentorship as needed and ensure that managers do the same for their team.

• Own the pipeline generation strategy and with internal stakeholders to execute against the strategy.

What you’ll bring to the role

• 10+ years’ experience building and running Enterprise sales teams in the software industry
• 3+ years’ experience as a front-line sales leader
• Deep understanding of SaaS / Cloud Go-To-Market and the required roles for effective customer engagement
• Relevant software industry experience in any of the following: IT systems, cloud enterprise or infrastructure management, application development and management, security, business applications and/or analytics.
• History of consistently meeting/exceeding targets and objectives personally and as a leader
• Excellent leadership and influencing skills; ability to build strong business partnerships both outside, and within the organization
• Mastery of consultative/solution selling methodologies like MEDDPICC, Challenger, Solution Selling, and Sandler

The Team

The Organizations team is expanding Auth0 to help B2B SaaS applications easily manage access for their own customers and partners, at scale. We make it possible for enterprise SaaS users to log in with the right set of permissions within the right context, and for our B2B customers to onboard access for their customers easily. Our work is cross-cutting and always heavily customer driven.



We work in NodeJS (JavaScript and TypeScript) and use PostgreSQL for our data needs. Our services run on AWS and Azure and we lean heavily on containers for both our development and production needs.

What you’ll be doing

• Collaborate with engineers both inside and outside the team to design and deliver powerful new enterprise functionality for our SaaS customers - both for the login flow itself and for Auth0’s direct and self-service management capabilities
• Every now and then, help drive improvements to shared stacks of functionality - such as our internal tooling for interactive testing of the product
• Develop technical improvements to our codebase and architecture

What you’ll bring to the role

• You have previous experience using Node.js (JavaScript or Typescript) and creating and maintaining public APIs.
• You have worked on full-stack apps in the past - you don’t need to be an expert but a decent portion of our work is on the front-end as well
• You like working on systems that are highly-reliable, maintainable and scalable.
• You have experience and an eye for good engineering practices and testing, and love to share them.
• You work autonomously but know when to seek help from your team members.
• You have experience with Docker and cloud environments (AWS and Azure preferred).

• IAM/OAuth2 experience.

The Engine Networking Team pulls players together by ensuring the game state is communicated to all, ensures the world those players share actually shows up — the right bits, at the right time, without hitches. As an Engineering Manager for Engine Networking, you will lead and empower a team of engineers who help players experience the game as a nearly synchronous world that streams in seamlessly. You Have:

• Managed, led, or mentored engineering teams working on high-performance, low-latency network infrastructure or content-delivery/asset-streaming systems in client/server environments.
• Experience driving execution and architectural roadmap for complex multithreaded systems that connect millions of concurrent users worldwide and stream large volumes of content to them reliably.
• Proven track record delivering systems supporting multi-platform deployments - from desktop clients to mobile phone clients to console clients - including the bandwidth, storage, and memory realities each platform imposes.
• Experience building systems in resource-constrained environments where every CPU cycle and byte counts.

• A background in game engine development, game networking, asset pipelines, or content streaming, with deep familiarity in game loop architecture, state synchronization, and how assets are loaded, prioritized, and made available to the running experience. Preferred)
• Experience with the asset delivery path - CDNs, caching layers and cache eviction, download scheduling and prioritization, prefetching, (de)compression and decoding, and streaming/incremental loading under tight memory budgets. (Preferred)

You Are:

• An engineering leader with 8+ years of total software engineering experience, including experience managing or leading high-performing systems, networking, or content-delivery engineering teams.
• Passionate about continuous technical excellence and comfortable guiding technical strategy around low-level Network Stacks, custom protocols, asset streaming and caching architectures, and open-source contributions.
• Highly proficient in C++ environments with a deep appreciation for systems-level programming and the underlying CPU/memory behavior (smart pointers, templates, custom allocators) - the same fluency that separates a smooth stream from a stall.
• Knowledgeable in transport-level optimizations, Linux networking, QoS, and Congestion Control Algorithms, and thoughtful about how those interact with asset delivery - download prioritization, bandwidth adaptation, and time-to-first-frame - with the ability to help your team navigate trade-offs down to the millisecond and the byte.
• An advocate for engineering growth, team execution, operational quality, and driving cross-functional alignment across platform, engine, content, and infrastructure teams.
