I’m a solo dev working on my first playable demo and I’m looking for a level designer to help me build 2 small 3D biomes.
The game is basically Zelda: Breath of the Wild meets a village builder.
You explore the world, free villagers from enemy camps, and bring them back to your village. The villagers then unlock new buildings, blueprints, weapons, abilities, or other upgrades. Those upgrades help you beat the boss of the biome, open a portal, and move on to the next area.
For the demo, I’m looking for:

• 2 small biomes/levels
• One boss area in each biome
• Enemy camps and exploration areas
• Routes for gathering resources
• Space for simple objectives and progression
• Clear and enjoyable gameplay flow
• Basic environmental storytelling and asset placement

It doesn’t need to be production-ready. This is mainly for testing the gameplay loop and seeing what works.
I already have some assets that can be used, so I’m not looking for custom models.
My budget is around ~€400. We could also start with one biome, or different milestones first and see how it goes.
There’s no strict deadline or time pressure, and I’d really like someone who enjoys giving creative input instead of just following a fixed layout, since I'm very new to Level Design and Game Development overall.
